Millie and the Kitties 12/31/07 PM

Went to see the kids a little earlier today, about 5:40. Fed Millie her wet food and we went for our walk. She was really frisky !! there were some kids playing in a back yard nearby and she was all curious (must have thought they were HER kids at first). She did her thing and we went home. She came in and had a drink. I topped kittie food bowls and made sure her bowl of food was ok. Gave her a treat and the kitties treats. Fed fish.
Gave Millie a little belly rub and talked to her for a bit. Petted the kitties a little.
Right before I left I decided to let Millie out in back (just in case it so cold in the morning I can't make the walk) to see what she'll do. Well, she rolled in a poile of dried vegetation!! Dead stuff allover her!! she was havin fun out there!
I got what I could off of her! I will bring my brush tomorrow and get all that stuff out of her fur! LOL
Kids are fine! :)
Be back in the morning!! hopefully I won't have a bunch of hungover animals starin at me!

Hassler Cats 12/31/07 Final Visit

Saw the kids at 10am this morning. Fed them, gave them some fresh water. Noticed there was just barely enough dry food in the container, so I opened the new bag in the pantry and filled the container up. Made sure they got what was coming to them !!
Noticed it was garbage day.. Cleaned litter pan. Replaced with new liner (used small ones..you need larger ones!!) and filled up with more litter. Took litter bag and the 2 others in the garage out to the street for pick up.
Couch-time. Doodle got right up in my lap. Really happy kitty-cat! We have a routine now!! isis got up for a few minuted, then back to eat some more.. No sign of Pickles! Petted Doodle-Love-Bug for a awhile, then he wanted to eat, so I got up and did treats for them and put some under the bed for Pickles.
I left a bag with a couple things for you and Abbie on the counter and your receipt.
As usual, the babies were terrific.

Millie and the Kitties 12/31/07 AM

Got to the house at 9am today. Gave Millie her treat and got her collared up for our walk. Kind of windy today, I think she liked it! We went about 1/2 way to the bridge and she started pokin around and then we started heading back, she did her business and trotted back towards home.
Got home, topped her food bowl, gave her fresh water. Gave her another treat (she asked me nicely).. Topped kitty bowls and gave them treats. Fed fish.
Spent a little time with Millie petting her and rubbin that cute little face of hers!!! sweeeet little girl.
I will be back tonight :)

Millie and the Kitties 12/30/07 PM

Got to the house around 6pm. Millie was barking , she stopped when she saw me :) Came in the kitchen and fed her wet food right away. Kitties came out. Checked their bowls. All good. Fed fish 2 pellets. Millie finished eating. WE collared up and went for our walk, got half way to the bridge and she wanted to go back, so we did, Millies the boss!! Dry food is still in bowl..
Gave Millie a treat when we got home, kitties got treats too.
Brought my grooming stuff and a brush and did a little clean up on Millie.. I cleaned up her face a little and around her feet.I think she kinda liked being brushed she kinda just went down and let m edo whatever I wanted (as usual), such a good girl, as always! I may trim her pads tmorrow too.
I found the dustbuster to clean up the hair! LOL the cats ran and Millie started barking like crazy! LOL
Everyones good!! I will be back in the morning!!

Hassler Cats 12/30/07

saw the kitties around 10am. Doodle was right at the door, like he knew I was there this morning! Fed the kitties and gave them fresh water. Check litter robot. I will change it tomorrow. Let the kids eat. Met them at the couch for petting time! I finally had both of them (Isis and Doodle) up on the couch with me. Purring like crazy!! happy cats!! Pickles doesn't know what shes missing!!
Doodle's little irritation isn't getting any worse just a little red.
Both Isis and Doodle seem really happy when I am there. I like spending time with them on the couch. they usually let me know when they have had enough. I gave them a few treat, left some under the bed for Pickles and said my goodbyes!!

Millie and the Kitties 12/30/07 am

came around 9:20 to see the kids this morning. Gave Millie-dog her treat and Got her ready for her walk. We went all the way to the bridge today. She is a good girl waited for me and everything! I thought I was going to be cold so I dressed for the arctic, she was probably embarrassed to be seen with me... LOL. Well, we got home and I noticed she didn't eat too much of her dry so i just topped it a little her water looked good to a will refresh it tonight. Fed the kitties and gave them treats. Then Millie talked me into another bacon treat. Fed the fish. I cleaned the litter box and added fresh litter.. Could find a litter scoop but I managed to do it with target bags! LOL anyway its clean! LOL Gave Millie a little belly rubbin and told her I would trim her feet and eyes tonight...Everyone looks good and seems happy!! be back tonight! :)

Millie and the kitties 12/29/07 PM

Saw Millie and the kitties today a little after 6pm. Gave Millie her wet food and her dry. There was no scoop so I sorta eyeballed it ;) Kitties came out to say HI. They have grown!!!! I remember when they were teeny little flea-ridden fuzzballs!!!! LOL Millie ate her wet food and we went for our walk.. we got about 3/4 to the bridhe and she said she wanted to go home, she led me home :) got back . Gave Millie her treat. Topped the cats bowls gave them some treats. I will be back in the morning!!

Hassler Cats 12/29/07

Saw the kitties around 10:15 this morning.. Mail in. Same thing! Raced to the counter and Doodle-bug just nuzzled me off my feet while I poured the food! Isis was at my legs rubbin me! LOL love these kitties! Pickles slept in! I rinsed the water bowl and refilled it. Checked litter robot. All good :)
Watered inside plants.
Met the kids at the couch. Doodle jumped right up in my lap!! nuzzled me and got lots of petting! big ol' love bug!! Isis parked it on the table and I gave her some lovin there! LOL TREAT TIME!! gave them each some treats and left some for Pickles under the bed... said my good-byes.. Be back tomorrow!!

Bear and Puggz Final Visit 12/29/07

Saw the kids about 10:45 today. Mail in! I got in and Bear came out almost immediately followed by Puggz! I was cleaning their boxes and Puggz jumped in as soon as I was done! LOL
actually both boxes! I brought some bottled water and dumped what was in silver bowl and put in 3 bottles of fresh water. Topped food bowl (Bear was eating when he came out). I gave them some treats and then a sat back and let them do what they wanted. Lo and behold they came right to me! I guess they finally got used to me! FINALLY! just in time for our visits to be over! so I petted Bear for awhile and then Puggz came over, what loud purrers they are!! I wanted to make a run for the brush but i didn't want to ruin what a good time we were having! so I had gotten to give some lovin finally and not through the pet door and not for 5 seconds! they were both just as sweet and loving as could be!! I hated to leave but I had other pet sits to go to. :(
It was a pleasure to care for the kitties!!!!!

Hassler Cats 12/28/07

Came to see the kitties around 10am today. Too early for the mail..Will bring it in tomorrow. Raced the kitties to the food bowls! Washed water bowl and gave them fresh water. Let them eat and then we did our petting time... Doodle is a little love bug!! he was enjoying himself so much he got "over stimulated" had himself all wrapped around my arm and then started love biting me! LOL I figured it was treat time then.. Got up gave some treats. Brushed Isis, gave her some petting time. Left some treats under the bed for Pickles... Doodle has a little irritation on her lower abdomen, just a little red.. I am keeping an eye on it.. Looks like the stuff I was told about.. If it looks any worse I will take him in...it isn't bad just irritated... Good kitties!!!

Hassler Cats 12/27/07

Saw the kids around 12 today..Brought in Mail. Doodle met me at the door as usual! Isis out next, everyone met at the counter to be fed (except for the elusive Pickles!!!). Fed them, gave them fresh water. I dumped the bag from the litter robot (was getting full), put the bag in the garage (garbage pick up came already) and I added some extra litter. Met Isis and Doodle at the couch and petted Doodle, purring and stretching and rolling around!! Isis wasn't up for much just wanted to stay on the floor...Let me brush her a little though.. Gave them some treats and I put some under the bed for Pickles ( i hope she is getting them is she a she??)
I will see them tomorrow!!! everyone is doing fine!!

Hassler Cats 12/26/07

Went to see Isis, Pickles and Doodle today. Doodle-bug met me at the door! FEED ME!! LOL Then Isis came out purring!!! Gave them fresh water, fed them and checked the litter robot... Isis and Doodle ate and then we sat on the couch for a little bit and I petted them.. Never did see Pickles!! I washed Abbies bowl. I left some treats under the bed for her and gave some treats to Isis and Doodle. I will be back tomorrow. I will get mail tomorrow. here are some pics of the kids!!!

Bear and Puggz 12/26/07

I went a little earlier to see the kids today! Puggz was in the car again! let him out and he made a run for it straight to the pet door! (Pic) Bear came out right away and grabbed a bite, I gave him some treats and he went back inside. Cleaned the cat boxes and replenished the litter. I topped the food and gave them fresh water... Puggz came back out and used the nice clean litter box! and let me do a little lovin! then back inside!! I was able to pet them through the pet door.. Heard a lot of purrin going on in there!!! They are eating well and they are using the potty a lot! ! very sweet kitties!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day especially all my little furbabies!!! I can imagine all of them running about wondering what all the excitement is about and why they are getting big bags of bones for no reason!!! for those of you out of town, I am sure you will spent a little extra time with your special babies when you get home !

Bear and Puggz 12/23/07

Saw Bear and Puggz today about 12:30. Brought in mail. When I came in the garage. I heard a little meow... Puugz was in the car! I let him out and he ran right into the house. I went ahead and cleaned the litter boxes. Refreshed the litter, added fresh step. I topped the food bowl and added fresh water. I then heard the kitties. So I called them and I saw 2 little faces in the kitty door. I reached in and pet them through the door. Eventually they came out. I pet Bear for a few minutes and then they both used their clean boxes. LOL Bear ate his treats I set out, and Puggz took a drink. Tried to get hold of Puggz to brush him and he said "its Sunday! I don't wanna be bothered" LOL so he just let me touch him a little and then he wanted back over by the car. I didn't want them to make a run for it when I had to go, so I got them back in the house and then opened the garage door and left.. it was good to see them and they seem like they are doing just fine!!! They are eating good and leaving lots of "goodies" in their boxes! LOL I am using one of the litter disposal bags to put the mail in .. Everything is good!
had a real cold front come through here last night! real windy!!!
I will be back to see the kids on Wednesday I will bring my camera and try to get some pics for the blog!!

Bear and Puggz 12/20/07

Went to see Bear and Puggz today...Guess they are a little shy. Didn't come out to see me. Cleaned their litter boxes and filled them with clean litter, added fresh step. Topped food bowl. Added fresh water to automatic waterer and dumped old water and added fresh water to silver bowl (will bring more water if needed). Called them a bunch of times. They didn't want to come out and play :( Set out some treats for them. Cleaned the litter mess on the floor (swept it up).
Brought in mail. Be back on Sunday :) maybe they will come out and let m eplay with them and Puggz will get some brushing !!

Autrey Girls 12/19/07

There at 1pm to see the girls. brought in box from outside. Girls went outside right away. Another beautiful day to play! They all scattered and did their pottying and then cait discovered a pile of leaves, Oh my! she wallowed in it! then the others tried to join in got some great pics, will try to get them from my iphone over to my pc and get them to the blog. they were really having a good time outside today. Tails waggin and running allover! back in for a chicken treat and some laptime. Cait was first today, them Maggie, Daisy then Abby. Abby stayed a lot longer today, she seemed real comfy just getting petted and talked to. Then they seemed to get ansy and we went back outside for awhile. Chased some birds, barked at the neighbor dog. Then Maggie and Daisy and Cait started fence jumping, I threw the chain and yelled no and they stopped except for Cait and I yelled no Cait and she finally stopped then i got them to the other side of the yard for a few minutes then back in and in the crates and a treat each.. Bye bye Merry Christmas! Love you Girls!! be good!!!

Autrey Girls 12/18/07

Saw the girls today at 1pm. Everyone pooped and peed immediately upon getting outside!! LOL
Spent a little longer time outside today because it was so nice. Those little girls just follow me everywhere!! Well, mostly Maggie, Daisy and Abby...Cait kinda runs around looking for stuff!
We came in and had a chicken bite (I saw the broken up ones already gave them one piece each) and then we went into the living room for laptime! Maggie was first this time, she has really become a calm sweet baby!! she gave me lots of loving and I gave her lots of back scratching!!! and ear scratchin!! sweet girl! then Cait came up, not for long, she saw something in the window!! abby was next, lots of loving to her, she seems to be afraid she is going to miss something!! and My dear little Daisy waited patiently! she said last is best! got her up in my lap and we snuggled and that girl has the cleanest nose in Texas from lickin it so much!! she just stretches back and lets me rub her neck and her ears and belly!...very sweet angel-baby!! ok time to go back out!! did some more pottyin, barked at the neighbor dog, no fence jumping, good girls!!
so then we played a little chase..cait ran one way and I ran another way so the girls didn't know which way to go, so daisy, abby and maggie were allover the place! they were just having a lot of fun and waggin their tails!!!
back in had a treats and back in their crates! bye til tomorrow!!

Autrey Girls 12/13/07

Abby and Daisy met me at the door! sweet babies!! let the girls out to do their things.. It had just warmed up a couple degrees and the sun came out so they were running allover and chasing birds. We came back in and had a 2 chicken strips (among the four of them) then Cait and I got down to business....I brought my little kitty clipper.. The front nails weren't that big of a struggle first paw she fought me, then she relaxed a bit for the 2nd one. I let her rest after that and she licked me..awwwwww...then the hind paws came..OMG!! she didn't like it one bit.. One paw down..took a breather.. 4 nails down...almost done..meanwhile sisters are runnin allover!!! one more nail to go....she lets me do it without a peep!!! tada!!! back ones aren't as short as front because she wears them down running in the yard. She was a good girl!! kicked and screamed a bit, but she was good...then I gave her a little cheese training bit I keep in my pocket and she was all happy and gave me lots of kisses!. then we did lap time for everyone and I got more kisses from all the girls and we went back outside and chased birds and pottied some more!! back in and everyone back into their kennels waiting on their yummies and I told em all I loved em and to have a great weekend and be good to mom and dad!! and I would see em Tuesday!!!

Autrey Girls 12/11/07 pics and post

saw my girls at 12 today. Did Maggies nails. Cait was allover us til it was her turn, then she did flips I have never seen an animal do! LOL Will have to go back to have Mom hold her :) besides that everyone was great, we went out and everyone did their thing. Maggie and Cait started jumping on the fence by the neighbor dog , I told them no and Maggie stopped right away, told her she was a good girl, Cait took a little more work. Daisy and Abbie sort of stuck by me after the finish their pottying. Went inside and did some lap-time and had a couple treats. Back outside they all finished up and ran around a little. Came in and I wiped their paws, since they got muddier this time! got some treats and everyone scattered into crates! funny how Abbie and Cait end up in the same crate most of the time! LOL I am posting pics of my Autrey babies!! all of them are sweet and loving and good girls as usual!!!

Babygirl Ordway rehomed (Happy Story)

I have been grooming Babygirl for over 2 years. Her mom Margie had passed away last year and Gary (husband) continued his best to care for Babygirl. He called me the other day and told me he felt he was neglecting her becasue he worked so much and could I find her a new home.. Well, I did!! Another client Lahoma Long , her husbands grandmother was looking for a little dog. These two are a perfect match. The grandma and Babygirl were made for each other and hit it off right off the bat! Grandma didn't want a pup that was a crazy little puppy she needed to train and was full of energy, she wanted a cute little lapdog... Babygirl was used to being a cute little lapdog and laying beside Margie all the time (Margie was bedridden), so these 2 were just perfect for each other . I am so happy they each have someone to love.. Gary made the right decision right on Gary! :)

My Rocky

Took my boys to the vet the other day for annual check ups and poor Rocky has an infection of some sort he is on antibiotics for 2 weeks!! poor baby ... his urine showed excessive protein and a small trace of blood and his PH was over 7.5 which is a little high too..poor kid well, now we know why he has been tinkling allover the house. We aren't sure whether its a UTI or a bladder thing but hopefully this antibiotic will take care of it....

Autrey Girls 12/6/07

My angel babies!!! getting better everytime I see them . That cait is fast as lightening, she doesn't miss a thing! if someone is gettin a treat she has her mouth half way down their throat! LOL she enjoys her laptime and she really calms down for it..nice to see her so docile when she gets her petting. I get to get a good look at her and talk to her.. Abby is so afraid she is gonna miss something same for Maggie, she wants up but if she sees something she misses out on laptime and then wants to come back when its someone else turn! I alswys make a little room and time for her to get a few minutes! LOL she loves her back scratches her legs go 90MPH!
they are all doing great! I will see them on Tuesday!!!

Autrey Girls 12/4/07

The girls were great as usual!! we all went out to do their business and small everything. Maggie was a good girl when it came time to the neighbor dog, I just told her no and she didn't jump or anything crazy :) we went to the other side of the yard and Maggie and Cait found a nice big fat bug!! they were so excited!! they Abby wanted in on it too. Daisy just looked at me like "ew".. LOL we went inside and had a little treat (chicken chewy strip) and we did our lap-time. They each now when its their turn! too cute!! back outside for a last call, back in for a little snack and cage time...great girls!!
